Serebella
I made this little website back in 2003 for fun. The original website had its own server, and its own copies of the DMOZ, Wikipedia and Wiktionary databases stored in MySQL.
Some time in early 2007 I turned the website off, but I kept the domain name because I like the way it sounds. In June of 2008 I figured I should put it back up, but I didn't want to pay for a whole server somewhere in cyberspace, and I don't want the hassle of hosting it on my own computer at home, so now it's hosted on one of those seven dollar a month hosting plans at GoDaddy.com.
These days, Serebella.com is only a shell which scrapes DMOZ using some really simple parsing and php's CURL package. As far as I'm aware, this is not a problem, and rather common.
Serebella.com obviously does not provide any new or interesting content to the internet, but it's a fun toy for me to have around, if only because I like the logo. And occasionally a visitor will click on an advertisement and I'll get a couple of pennies.
